Feeling sick? Get tested for Flu/COVID-19 and/or Strep at our Capitol Hill pharmacy or Strep at our 7th and Madison pharmacy! Our pharmacists may provide treatment to those who qualify.
READ BEFORE SCHEDULING:
Currently, our pharmacy can only test those who may qualify for treatment and meet age criteria.
For Flu Testing and Treatment, you must be at least 5 years old and meet ANY of the following:
- Symptoms within the last 2 days
- Have a chronic medical condition
For COVID Testing and Treatment, you must be at least 12 years old and meet ALL of the following:
- Symptoms started within the last 5 days
- Be at high or increased risk for progression to severe illness
For Strep Testing and Treatment, you must be at least 3 years old and do NOT have history of rheumatic fever, rheumatic heart disease, scarlet fever, or Group A streptococcus-induced glomerulonephritis.
For those who do not meet these criteria, have or suspect liver or kidney impairment, or have already tested positive and are seeking treatment, please contact your primary care provider or an urgent care clinic. If you are experiencing trouble breathing, shortness of breath, or believe you may be having a medical emergency, call 9-1-1 or contact your primary care provider immediately.
For COVID treatment, there are medications that cannot be taken with Paxlovid (nirmatrelvir/ritonavir) or require additional monitoring from your health care team. If you suspect that this may be the case, call a location to confirm if you may need to seek more extensive care from your primary care provider or urgent care.

What to Expect During Your Visit
When you arrive at the pharmacy, you will complete an intake form that includes screening symptoms, a medication list, and your medical history. It is important to list all your medications because they may have significant drug interactions which may need referral to your primary care provider or urgent care.
The pharmacist will perform a combined Flu/COVID-19 nasal swab test and/or Strep throat swab test to patients who qualify. Testing takes about 5-15 minutes depending on the test, though your visit may take 30 minutes or up to an hour depending on your results. If you test positive, the pharmacist will discuss appropriate treatment options and dosing based on your kidney function. You may choose to receive your medication from Kelley-Ross or have the prescription sent to a pharmacy of your choice.
Please note: Your visit and medication may require a copay. Coverage varies by insurance. Contact your insurance provider for details.
