Advancing medication beyond the counter

Amazing things happen at our Clinical Pharmacy Institute (CPI). For starters, it’s the think tank where we pioneer new ideas like our groundbreaking HIV prevention clinic: One-Step PrEP®, as well as our Concierge Travel Clinic, and our nationally acclaimed Naloxone programs.

Our CPI team also developed an in-home medication coaching (MTM/Transitions Of Care) service, which is offered directly to the community through our concierge-style patient care. We work directly with physicians, caregivers, and other health organizations to help achieve the highest safety and effective medication outcomes. It is also non-dispensing, allowing completely unbiased patient care.

With this model, we are re-shaping the way Pharmacists offer care, going far beyond dispensing pills. We are also seeing huge reductions in hospital re-admittance, which is driving down the cost of healthcare.

We pilot research projects and drive professional advancement like our residency program and student rotations. We can honestly say that through our CPI division, we are truly re sharping the future of pharmacy right in front of our very eyes.
