We are currently providing COVID-19 Vaccine at our Polyclinic & Union Center (Eastlake) locations. To learn more, visit the State’s Vaccine Information Page.
Please note that at this time, if you are between the ages of 12 and 15 years old, we will not be able to administer the vaccine to you. While the FDA approval yesterday of this age group to the Emergency Use Authorization was a step towards the ability to receive the vaccine, the CDC and State of Washington both have steps necessary to complete before this can happen.
The CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) is scheduled to meet Wednesday, May 12, 2021 to review safety and efficacy data and vote on Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine recommendations for the expanded age group. ACIP will submit its recommendations to the CDC director and recommendations will be further vetted by the Scientific Safety Review Workgroup as part of the Western States Pact. Governor Inslee is expected to follow up with a press release/media conference on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at which time health care providers in Washington State will be permitted to administer Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine to adolescents 12 through 15 years of age.
Given this, the earliest any healthcare provider could schedule this would be Thursday, May 13th.
