Pets Deserve The Very Best Care
A note from our Compounding Pharmacy Manager: Roland Lopez, PharmD, FACA, FACVP
As pet owners, we appreciate the importance of our pets, and the fact they are special extensions of our own family.
As extraordinary family members, what happens when our pets needs a “special” medication that is not available as a conventional medication? Special circumstances might include: when a conventional medication is not available, not palatable, difficult to administer, or contains an ingredient that can cause adverse events or harm to your pet. Here is a great example of how we work with canine patients [watch].
In these instances, a compounded medication can help. Compounded medications are special preparations that are custom made by specially trained pharmacists, in collaboration with veterinarians, clients and patients.
At Kelley-Ross Compounding Pharmacy (part of the Kelley-Ross Pharmacy Group), we use the most current and up-to date references, techniques and equipment to ensure our patients get the very best care.
Additionally, we believe in leading the way in best practices as we utilize independent organizations to verify the quality of our work.
